Hale's first time fishin'
Well, it is a rainy Memorial Day weekend in Western Washington this year. It could have been sunny - but why break a 10 year streak?
I am taking this rainy afternoon to show you what we'd really like to be doing if it weren't freezing outside.
Last Saturday, Landon and Hale went fishing with Uncle Kohl in his new boat. The trip was a big success because a.) They caught 7 fish (8 if you count the one that jumped out of the boat and swam away) and b.) Hale remained (pretty much) seated for 3.5 hours - a record to be sure.
During this fishing trip I went to the salon and then relaxed at home so the pictures are not mine - many thanks to Kohl and Landon and Uncle Grant for documenting the trip so well.
Just starting out and Hale is not too sure what to think.

Holy cow. I can not believe Hale successfully sat in the boat for 3.5 hours and didn't fall in! Very impressive. And cute pics, too! Looks like fun.
