Hale- 3 years 3 months

After my last post about Zetta I decided that an update on Hale was in order.

Summertime means more farm time for Hale. He is in the height of glory on the farm. His favorite activity is chopping grass - probably because it uses the biggest tractor. Hale likes to help his dad feed calves and requests regular updates on the progress of the raspberries. When he's not at the farm he is building "sprayers" and "milk machines" with his toys.

He is a nonstop talker which is probably typical for his age. He is asking more intelligent questions which makes spending time with him very interesting and also more challenging. I feel like a philospher as I try to define vague English words or answer questions like "Mom, when I was in your tummy, where was Zetta?"

He is a very good older brother. I would not call him careful or gentle but he is occasionally tender and always fiercely protective - just like a big brother should be.
