My weekend with the SPU girls

This past Saturday Jen hosted a get-together of SPU girls (the group of us that are still WA residents) at the Labbee's home in Magnolia. It was a really fun time - celebrating the upcoming arrival of baby VD and just catching up with one another. I'm so thankful for my SPU friends!

Here is the group...but we are missing Carly and Will!

Here's Carly and Will!

Try to ignore my weird facial expression and look at the table of food that Jen prepared!

Introducing Owen to baby VD. Maybe it will be a girl so they can get married!

A few of the fun gifts the girls brought!

Happy New Year!

December was such a fun month for Landon and me! It really flew by quickly. See pictures below to see the highlights of our month!

We kicked off the holiday season with our usual family trip to the Mount Baker National Forest to find a Christmas tree. Bud and Susan found a colossal tree - which looked pretty funny on the top of a vehicle - but was very majestic in their front room. Since we have stricter height restrictions for our house we only came away with photographs.

We were so excited to have Robin, Tait and Gaard visit the second weekend in December! Uncle Landon was happy to show Gaard some real cows and tractors. This picture is actually from Christmas Day in Minnesota - but you can see Gaard wearing his souvenir sweatshirt that he picked out while touring the local John Deere implement.

We had a enjoyed a relaxing Christmas with both the Van Dyk and Kroontje families. On December 28th we all got a late Christmas present: Rocklyn Johanna Osborn. Landon and I are so excited to have a new niece! She is really cute and makes us even more anxious to meet our baby!
