Summer Visitors: from Yakima!

On a beautiful weekend in July, when raspberry season was just beginning to slow down, our friends from Yakima came to stay with us.  Actually, they stayed NEAR us- on our driveway in their trailer!  The boys picked up right where they left off and had a blast playing together!  As always, it was soul-filling to see our good friends- just what we needed to get us through our busy season!  Jen and I got some girl time, the boys got lots of farm time, and even Landon got some down time!  The only disappointment of the whole weekend is that I later discovered that I took all the pictures with no card in the camera!  Ugh.  Imagine sunshine, swimming, and a beautiful evening by the fire with lots of giggling and you have all the pictures you need.

Jen and family- We loved seeing you guys! I love watching the bond between our families grow.  Every time we drive up I-5 from Seattle Hale looks east and says "I think I can see Yakima".  Today Zetta's doll house family was packing up for a road trip.  Where are they going? "To Yakima" she said. :-)
