Strawberry picking

Hale and I picked strawberries this week with Grandma Susan. It was a cold spring so the berries were very late. It is not often that we are making jam after the Fourth of July!

It only took Hale a few seconds to get berry stains on his overalls. After we took these pictures we made five batches of jam and still had lots of strawberries left over for ice cream.

Lake Chelan 2008

We have just returned from our yearly camping trip to Lake Chelan. During last year's trip we talked about how weird it would be to have two new babies along in 2008. Now the babies are here and it was definately a much different week! Not quite as much relaxing in the sun for Becky, Tarelle and Grandma Susan. But it was really special to introduce the next generation to Lake Chelan! It was also great to have a few family member's visit: Grant, Josiah, Steven, and Aunts Liz and Rosie!
